Dr Roger Clarnette

Dr Clarnette is a clinician researcher at Fiona Stanley Fremantle Hospitals group. He is adjunct professor at Curtin University. He was awarded a PhD in behavioural neurology from the University of Western Australia in 2008. He has a long- term interest in assessment, treatment and management of cognitive disorders. He has been the principal investigator of hundreds of clinical drug trials dating back to 1993. Dr Clarnette is currently lead clinician at Integra Trials in Western Australia. Close association with dozens of scientists in the pharmacological arena has provided unique insights into development of drugs targeting CNS conditions. At Fremantle Hospital he runs the Memory Evaluation Unit which assesses patients with subtle cognitive symptoms. During the 25 years the clinic has been operational he has trained dozens of future and currently practising geriatricians.
